The day started with some quiet scenery on Harstene Island, with views out to McMicken Island.
From there I drove out to Rachel & Steve's in Tacoma to spend a few hours touring the 5-mile loop trails at Point Defiance. We visited Camp 6, Fort Nisqually and had just generally enjoyed the quiet and serenity of the park.
